June 07, 2023 at 4:10 pm PDT, and 17-year-old cat and regular ferry rider Betty is no exception., who told the ferry service that she used to keep Betty in a pet carrier in her car during sailings. Betty took issue with that approach, and after she “meowed nonstop,” was let out to wander and people-watch moving forward.
