Q. Do you see a similarity in the reception for “Odessey and Oracle” and the Beach Boys’ “Pet Sounds”?There is a similarity. The reaction wasn’t instantaneous. With “Odessey and Oracle” it took years before people started to show an interest in it. Now, year on year, it sells more every year. And of course, when it was finally released, there was no band.
