.TheView hosts reacted to CNN's decision to host a town hall w/ former President Donald Trump. 'When you show that you are an insurrectionist...a liar...a bigot...a racist...sexist...I know everything I need to know about you,' Sunny Hostin said.
Sunny Hostin told her cohosts that she is"so disgusted" by CNN's decision."When someone shows you who they are, you believe them," she added."When you show that you are an insurrectionist, that you’re a liar, that you’re a bigot, that you’re a racist, that you're sexist, that you’re twice impeached, that you’re currently a criminal defendant — and likely to be a criminal defendant in two other jurisdictions — and you grab women by their genitals," she began.
"And did we learn nothing from [Leslie] Moonves, bad for the country but great for the network?" she added. "Let them do it. It is a free country. This is America. Let him go out there and let him show again to the American people that he’s a sociopath," she said.Alyssa Farah Griffin disagreed with Hostin, noting that what the 2024 candidate has to say is a"vital public interest."
