The Simpsons season 35 finally gets a premiere date from Fox. Originally introduced on the Tracey Ullman Show way back in 1987, The Simpsons have now become one of TV history’s most iconic sitcom families, with 34 seasons of their animated show in the bag and more yet to come.

Given the current state of Hollywood amid a pair of industry-paralyzing strikes, it can’t be stated with any certainty that The Simpsons won’t be affected somewhere down the road.
Fox’s Animation Domination Block Is Staying Intact For The Foreseeable Future The Simpsons is of course just one part of Fox’s Animation Domination block, along with long-running shows Bob’s Burgers and Family Guy. Happily, all three of these iconic animated series will be back for new seasons in 2023. Indeed, all three have been renewed through 2025, guaranteeing that Fox will be dominating animation, at least in network primetime, for the foreseeable future.
But there’s even more excitement around Animation Domination than usual in 2023, with the arrival of a new series in Krapopolis, the latest creation from the twisted mind of Rick & Morty co-creator Dan Harmon.
