More information on the upcoming The Penguin series starring Colin Farrell has been shared, with Matt Reeves revealing when it takes place.
recently, Reeves — who serves as executive producer on the series — not only revealed that the series is set to begin production soon, but noted that the project will likely lead into the upcoming sequel to“There’s actually a whole little fabric of things we’re wanting to do, the way we’re doing with [and how that comes back into how that will lead into the sequel, and what that sequel is going to be,” said Reeves.
The limited drama will be based on the DC characters created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger. It is being written by Lauren LeFranc, who is also set as the showrunner. The first two episodes will be directed by Craig Zobel.
