After 41 years, and a succession of goodbye
They were hoping to hear favorites “Corpus Christi Bay” and “Feelin’ Good Again.” They wouldn’t be disappointed. “He is a regular man,” said Perez, describing Keen’s appeal. “The way he tells a story is incredible. When I think about Texas, I think about him – and bluebonnets. I don’t know who embodies Texas more.”
Georgeanne Warnock teared up a little thinking this was the end of the road. “It’s heartbreaking. We’ve cried,” she said.
