“We don’t have clouds of flies around our ankles anymore. The flies don’t look right. They’re small. They’re behaving funny,” notes a biology professor.

That’s ultimately a drop in the bucket — the Great Salt Lake needs around 2 million acre-feet to reach a sustainable level.
