It also states City Council is having a tough time conducting its business this week. Elected officials have lost confidence in Perry. If Perry is ultimately convicted and refuses to resign, such a move from council is likely. But that scenario would take months to play out. McKee-Rodriguez thinks that lengthy route would frustrate both council members and the residents they represent.
