in question is certainly not going to be considered a hero car by fans, it does have some relatively prominent screen time in arguably the best film in the series. According to the auction listing, the car was purchased from Universal Studios by the seller in 2013.
The car has since undergone a restoration to bring it back to its on screen condition, and even retains the safety equipment installed during shooting. The car’s original Cleveland 351 V-8 still sits out back, complete with an Edelbrock intake and Carter carburetor setup. A five-speed manual gearbox puts power to the real wheels.
