Dosanjh, a star of some of the most commercially successful Bollywood and Punjabi movies of all time, has released 13 studio albums, including 2020’s“Together, we’ll take Indian music way beyond the usual diaspora audiences to the top of the global charts,” said Dosanjh in a statement on the deal. “I’ve already started working with some of Warner Music’s artists from other countries and it’s proving an exhilarating creative process.
The new deal “brings Range Media Partners the full force of A+E Networks’ global media operations,” the release states. A+E support capabilities provided to Range under the agreement will include production studios for scripted, unscripted, and independent film and its own array of curated SVODs, FAST channels and podcasts. A+E also boasts branded experiential live events and an e-commerce business along with research, marketing and a sizable global distribution pipeline.
The release adds that A+E Studios and Range have a number of collaborative initiatives already underway, including the TV projectRange continues to be supported by Point72 Ventures, which remains a minority investor.said the company was drawn to Range’s “impressive team and roster of entrepreneurially-minded talent,” adding, “[we] believe this investment will create strategic opportunities to accelerate the growth of our scripted and nonfiction content creation unit on a global scale.
