“Like a fire drill, you have the reassurance of knowing what to do in case of an emergency,” Parks and Wildlife spokeswoman Megan Radke said. “Knowing how to identify the few most common venomous snakes in your area can also help reduce fears.” Snakes are opportunistic nesters that will find any available place to hibernate, such as under rocks, wood piles, abandoned buildings and other cool and dark areas where they’re unlikely to be bothered by predators.If you see a rattlesnake
