Days after a Lewisville, Texas woman's body was recovered near Grapevine Lake, police arrested and charged the woman's friend for murder.

Greg Abbott’s buoy system to prevent people from crossing the border outside of the state’s legal ports of entry.was charged with murder over the weekend, in connection to the death of a Lewisville woman whose body was found near Grapevine Lake spillway last week.
On July 7, the body was identified as Holmes and detectives were led to Burch. The two lived together at the time of Holmes’ death.
