AUSTIN — Rowan Brumbaugh’s quiet career at Texas came to an end this week when the redshirt freshman decided to submit his name into the NCAA transfer portal.
“That’s kind of Rowan’s decision to do that,” Beard said in November. “He’s gonna be an outstanding player. Obviously, with Tyrese and Carr and the backcourt right now, I think the decision was made not only for Rowan’s future, but really for Rowan’s present as well.” “He’s awesome,” Texas graduate guard Brock Cunningham said of Brumbaugh last month. “Rowan will be an elite player one day.
