Texas Capital Bank is moving ahead with plans to locate a major office center in Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas' campus in Richardson.
Work on the new Texas Capital offices will cost $9 million and is scheduled for completion in January. Dallas architect Corgan is designing the new office.Texas Capital has had workers in two nearby buildings. It also has operations in the Dallas area, Austin, Houston, San Antonio and Fort Worth.Avenue building in Uptown.
The new office deal announced last fall will grow the bank’s footprint in the high-rise to more than 200,000 square feet.“This location, in the heart of Uptown Dallas, is highly desirable and easily accessible,” John Cummings, Texas Capital executive vice president and chief administrative officer, said last fall when the bank disclosed its new lease. “Our plans for this new space are reflective of our continued journey to become the flagship financial institution in Texas.
