Price was born in Atlanta but played high school football at Plano. Price was recruited by Aggie football coach Jackie Sherrill and played on the defensive line for coach R.C. Slocum, earning All-Southwest Conference honors as a senior.Advertisement
Price was drafted in the 10th round of the 1990 NFL draft by the Chicago Bears. He played two seasons in the NFL for the Bears and the Miami Dolphins before returning to finish his degree and begin his coaching career on Slocum’s staff in 1992. Price also spent time coaching at Western Kentucky, Ole Miss, Auburn and Texas Tech. He returned to the A&M staff under Kevin Sumlin, where he’d remained since. He worked with NFL standouts such as Myles Garrett, Justin Madubuike and DeMarvin Leal among others.Words would do you no justice. My coach, my guy, my friend I love you Terry Price.
