AUSTIN — Jack Moss hit for the cycle and Dylan Rock had a grand slam as Texas A&M outslugged No. 8 Texas 12-9 in a nonconference baseball game Tuesday night at Disch-Falk Field.
Rock's grand slam broke a 4-4 tie in the fourth inning and gave the Aggies a lead they never relinquished. The lead swelled to 12-6. Texas chipped away in the late innings before falling short. Moss, who was 5-for-5 with a pair of runs scored and five runs batted in, had A&M's first cycle since February 2018, when Zach DeLoach and Chris Andritsos accomplished the feat three days apart.For Texas, Trey Faltine went 2-for-4, both homers and had three RBIs.
