Texans right tackle Tytus Howard was named the NFL Players Association’s 2023 Black College Football Pro Player of the Year, the organization announced Thursday.

Howard played college football at Alabama A&M, a historically Black school in Montgomery, Ala. The Texans selected him 23rd overall in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft.
