Tesla Offers Model S Plaid Track Package That Unlocks 200 MPH Top Speed For $15K To $20K car auto cars
for the Model S Plaid includes several upgrades such as aluminum forged wheels, high-performance tires, better brake fluid, and improved brakes. The braking system features one-piece forged calipers with high-performance brake pads, aimed at improving the vehicle’s handling and performance on the track.The package also offers new carbon-silicon carbide brake discs that feature continuous-fiber technology and a unique 3D matrix, providing strength and heat dissipation.
The front brake rotors measure 410 x 40 mm , while the rear rotors measure 410 x 32 mm . The calipers that clamp down on the front discs have six pistons, while the ones at the back have four.The Track Package also comes with 20-inch Zero-G wheels, including center caps, tire nut valves, and lug nut covers, wrapped in Goodyear Supercar 3R tires , which feature the Plaid logo on their surface.
Finally, the package also comes with some modest software updates. These include better battery conditioning, including a cool-down program for after hot laps, reports
