Tenderloin fentanyl dealer convicted; faces 3 years in prison

The man was caught in the Tenderloin with 'almost 50,000 lethal doses' of fentanyl, according to the San Francisco District Attorney's office.

A man is facing three years in prison after he was convicted of selling fentanyl and methamphetamine in the Tenderloin district.

Macario has been in custody since early March when he was found with"almost 50,000 lethal doses of fentanyl," according to the district attorney. He is scheduled to be sentenced on July 18. Macario was arrested on the night of March 8 while he was"working with an unknown suspect in narcotics trafficking" in the area of Seventh and Market streets, authorities said.
