A teenager was severely injured late Monday in a shooting in north Houston that ended when his Buick crashed into a parked car in a subdivision driveway, officials said.
Officers around 8:20 p.m. responded to a major crash in the 800 block of Forest Ivy Lane, Lt. J.P. Horelica of the Houston Police Department told On Scene reporters. They found a 17-year-old had been shot in the head. He was taken to a hospital in serious condition. Witnesses told police the teenager had been shot just before his vehicle crashed into a car parked in a driveway, Horelica said.
