Both victims were injured; one was taken to a hospital for treatment of broken bones.
On Feb. 15, police investigators learned that one suspect, a 17-year-old girl, was in custody in Alameda County for a separate incident. They took her to the San Francisco Juvenile Justice Center and booked her on suspicion of felony charges including battery causing serious injury. She is also under investigation for an aggravated assault on Dec. 15 near Market and Van Ness, police said.
The second suspect, also 17, was spotted by patrol officers on the evening of Saturday, Feb. 26, at 24th and Mission streets. She was taken to the Juvenile Justice Center and booked on suspicion of felony aggravated assault.
