Adult teen dead in weekend Bay Point homicide
BAY POINT — A 19-year-old man died Saturday in what authorities are calling a homicide.
Authorities identified the man as Jesus Gallegos, of Bay Point. The Contra Costa County Coroner’s Office was called to the 400 block of Clifford Court about 9:20 p.m. on Saturday, authorities said. The Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office was investigating the case. Several messages left for the sheriff’s office spokesman, Jimmy Lee, were not returned. A sheriff’s sergeant confirmed the homicide but declined to give details, referring questions to Lee.with two counts of murder for leading police on a pursuit that ended with a crash that killed a mother and her 6-year-old son in Rodeo on March 23.
