The hotel’s culinary pastry shop complete repairs to the structure on a daily basis, whether that be on account of natural wear and tear from foot traffic or visitors picking off a piece of candy or two.
“When you walk into the lobby, you smell the gingerbread. But when you’re in that private dining room, it envelops you. So it’s a lot of fun,” Heston said.
