A suspect at an hours-long standoff in Gilroy Sunday was shot by police and taken away in an ambulance, officials confirmed. One deputy was hit by a ricochet bullet, and he is in stable condition. Officials say the suspect is expected to be "OK."
Deputies were at a scene in Gilroy involving a barricaded subject and a weapon, the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office said.
