The Oakland Police Department reported investigators determined 'after a thorough search' that a kidnapping involving the stolen truck did not occur.
Oakland police announced on Wednesday afternoon that a suspect was arrested in a stolen truck after a witness reported the vehicle may have been involved in a kidnapping.
OPD investigators sought the public's help to locate the two suspects and the vehicle in the wake of the reported kidnapping.
