Fans in attendance at Star Wars Celebration were treated to a full-length trailer for the upcoming Ahsoka TV series, which featured a surprise appearance by an animated Star Wars character. Several fan-favorite Star Wars characters are transitioning to live-action in Ahsoka, including Hera Syndulla, Sabine Wren, and Grand Admiral Thrawn.
This continues the Star Wars TV shows' tradition of creating connective tissue between stories, standing on their own while also making up a larger saga. Fans who recognized the animated Star Wars character in the Ahsoka trailer will already have a greater investment because of the show they appeared in, and those not familiar with the character will want to get caught up.
Senator Xiono was portrayed as very strict in Resistance, believing that his son relied on him for everything, which often put him at odds with Kaz.
