The court is different, much like in the Roe versus Wade, strike down, we have now a more conservative court,” she said. “40 years ago, the courts said yeah, we have an interest in making sure our schools are diverse and so there's a compelling interest to treat people differently.

We tried that, said the court; we looked at that, we did that and now we can't treat people differently under the 14th Amendment Equal Protection Clause and also under the civil rights laws,” Conti said. “So I think we're going to see affirmative action stricken down.
