The Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation has lifted a bargaining embargo on Northern Lights School Division, as a resolution has been reached.
According to the STF, Young has provided a written letter acknowledging his intent was not to “subvert the collective bargaining process,” which will be shared with NATA teachers.
The union had made clear in June a resolution would include Northern Lights acknowledging interfering with bargaining, rescind the MOU letter and issue an apology. The STF was not available for comment Tuesday to confirm if all three requests had been met.Article content Engaging this designation is considered a serious action, according to the STF, and one that had not been evoked since 2002.
