In the US, the northeast — from Washington, DC, to Boston — was considered “a major pollution hotspot” and, in South America, plants in the Amazon rainforest are absorbing carbon through sunlight.During overnights after absorption, those plants inevitably let the carbon “build up,” according to NASA.
