In another viral social media post, a Reddit user and Starbucks barista shared why the new tipping system is "awkward" for employees and customers.
Many claimed that Starbucks should simply pay their employees more rather than rely on customers for tips. "I'm all for this tipping system as long as it’s a small business. Definitely slapping the no tip for a Starbucks," another added.
