St. Paul scored the game's first and last three runs of the game, including a pair of two-run home runs, to edge the visiting Columbus Clippers.
With the Saints trailing 5-3 in the seventh inning, John Andreoli hit a two-run shot to tie the game and Jermaine Palacios gave St. Paul the lead with an RBI double in the eighth. Matt Wallner, who scored the game-winning run, gave the Saints a 3-0 lead in the first with a two-run homer.
After allowing three hits in the first inning, Clippers starter Tanner Tully, who completed five innings, retired 12 of the next 14 batters , including five strikeouts. David Fry hit his 14th home run of the season, Gabriel Arias hit is 11th and third in as many games. Bo Naylor extended his on-base streak to 14 games with a single.
