The low-cost, Florida-based carrier released a statement in which it blamed “technical issues” for the unavailability of its app, website and kiosks at airports nationwide. “We are currently experiencing a technical issue. Spirit.com, the Spirit Airlines app and our airport kiosk are currently unavailable at this time,” the statement reads. "We anticipate longer than usual lines at the airport so please plan on arriving early."
