Kraven the Hunter pursues Spider-Man - aided by Darth Vader, Green Arrow, and Captain Jack Sparrow - in a hilarious cosplay showcase from fan creator knightmage.
Kraven the Hunter is one of the deadliest of Spider-Man’s villains, which is something that a lot of fans are assuredly thinking about right now, given he’s about to make his live-action debut in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe. Lucky for them, a couple of cosplayers decided to give their own interpretation of what a live-action Kraven could look like hunting Spider-Man, and the result is absolutely hilarious.
Kraven the Hunter made his first appearance in Amazing Spider-Man #15, but the character didn’t truly make a name for himself until the iconic storyline Kraven’s Last Hunt by J.M. DeMatteis and Mike Zeck. In that storyline, Kraven decides it’s time to finally kill the one prey he never could before: Spider-Man.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Kraven vs Spider-Man Cosplay Gives Fans a Funny Version of a Serious Rivalry In a Facebook Reel posted by user Knightmage, someone cosplaying as Spider-Man is being chased by someone dressed as Kraven the Hunter. This video was taken during 3 Rivers Comic Con in early June 2023, which meant that ‘Spider-Man’ had plenty of distractions/hiding spots to work with while running away from a determined ‘Kraven’.
Along with the hilarious Reel, user Knightmage posted text that read, “Listen, all I’m saying is if all the hype for the Kraven the Hunter film doesn’t eventually lead to a moment like this with Spider-Man, then what’s the point?”. Unfortunately for Knightmage, it doesn’t seem likely that Spider-Man will hide from Kraven under Darth Vader’s cloak, or behind Jack Sparrow’s body .
Kraven Gets Spider-Man in Shockingly Dark Follow-Up Post If/when Kraven and Spider-Man do face each other in live-action, it likely won’t be as comical as Knightmage’s Facebook Reel. Then again, the Reel itself didn't necessarily have a happy ending.
