The speed limit has been reduced to 45 mph on 11 highways in south-central Pennsylvania, PennDOT said.

Around 8:30 a.m. the speed limit dropped to 45 mph on the following highways. Commercial vehicles must stay in the right lane while the restrictions are in place.· Interstate 83 in York and Dauphin counties· Route 22 in Perry and Dauphin counties· Route 283 in Lancaster CountyThe National Weather Service said snow will fall until about 2 p.m. Saturday. However, up to 40 mph winds could significantly reduce road visibility through at least Sunday morning.
