The search for a missing Montgomery County mother has drawn law enforcement agents to a grassy area behind a warehouse a short distance from where the woman vanished 2 weeks ago, sources tell FOX 29.
on Jan. 4 after she failed to pick up her 8-year-old son from school. She was last seen the previous day at her home in Limerick Township by some described by the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office as a "friend and business associate." car keys, wallet, purse and work cellphone were found inside. Her personal cellphone was not found, but investigators say it has been out of communication since the morning of Jan. 4.
Brown, a mother of two, is described by police as 5-foot-1, 150 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. Since her disappearancearound Limerick and offered a $10k reward for information on Brown's whereabouts. "My heart breaks for Jennifer and whatever situation she may be in but also for Noah. Her son needs to have his normal routine, he needs his mom," said Ellen Friend, a neighbor who told FOX 29 she briefly saw Brown the day before her disappearance.
Two weeks after Brown's disappearance, sources say law enforcement agents were drawn to an open field behind a warehouse in Royersford; less than 5 miles away from Limerick. Officials have provided limited information about their activity in the field, but a source says it's linked the Brown's disappearance.
