Sound of Freedom is once again shocking the box office with expectations of reaching nearly $23 million in its second weekend in theaters.

The film grossed more than $7 million on Friday, putting it on pace to finish the weekend with $81 million and to break $100 million in gross receipts, according to box office reports.Sound of Freedom continues to beat Sony Pictures Insidious: The Red Door overall, in addition to besting Disney’s latest Indiana Jones film on a daily basis for nearly a week.

The movie, which is distributed by Angel Studios, details the true story of how former Homeland Security agent Tim Ballard quit his DHS job and risked his life to journey into the jungles of Colombia in an effort to save children from sex slavery. Ballard has said the film is forcing the Left to have a discussion about “why 85,000 children showed up unaccompanied at the border.” He also rejected claims that the film is somehow connected to QAnon.

“You know, I can’t understand it. The film was made, produced, written like five years, six years ago, way before anyone heard the name QAnon. I still don’t even know what QAnon is,” Ballard previously told Jesse Watters Primetime.

Trump himself will attend the screening, and will be joined by Ballard; Eduardo Verastegui, the film's producer; and Jim Caviezel, the film's lead actor who plays the role of Ballard.
