After the pandemic canceled the 2020 season, the Jaguars went 3-22-1 in 2021 and 13-12-1 last season under coach Brian Sandera, who replaced Jennifer Fox, who left for Alamo Heights with former Johnson football coach Ron Rittimann.Eight Jaguars, including five starters, were on the 2021 squad.
Junior center fielder Reese Surratt and junior shortstop Brooklyn Foster produced the winning run against Madison after Surratt scored from first on Foster’s single to the right-center field gap in the bottom of the seventh for the 3-2 win.
