The rain returns Saturday in Southern California, adding to what has already been an unusually wet winter.The next round of rain arrives Saturday, with drizzle in the morning and heavier rainfall by the afternoon, continuing into Sunday. At least an inch of rain is expected at downtown Los Angeles, with 1-2 inches in the foothills over the weekend. The mountains will also see snowfall at higher elevations.

The rain is expected to be less intense than last weekend's storm and no flood watches or warnings have been issued at this point.Los Angeles and Orange counties will see a 30% chance of light rain in the morning, increasing to 80% by the afternoon, with a high temperature of 59 degrees. About three-quarters of an inch is expected to fall in the area.

Valleys and the Inland Empire will see a high of 56 degrees, with light rain in the morning and heavier in the afternoon, with 1-2 inches total expected.Mountain communities will see a high temperature of 45 degrees, with a few inches of snow falling at elevations over 7,500 feet on Saturday and 6,000 feet on Sunday.
