Amari Bailey and Kijani Wright, signed to play for UCLA and USC, respectively, join former Trailblazers Brandon Boston and Ziaire Williams as players that have been selected to the prestigious McDonald’s All-American game, which is scheduled to be played March 29 in Chicago. Bailey played in just 15 games this season due to injury, but averaged 18.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game. Wright played in 31 games after transferring from Windward and averaged 12.8 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.
Boston and Williams are now in the NBA after being one-and-done players in college. Boston played at Kentucky before being drafted by the LA Clippers. Williams played at Stanford and is now playing with the Memphis Grizzlies. Sierra Canyon finished 26-5 this season after an losing in the CIF Southern Section Open Division playoffs and the CIF State SoCal Regional final .
