Shorty's Pizza is gaining stature in the central Ohio pie community.
Owners Thom Ibinson and John Cordas have just opened their third and fourth locations — one in the former Neighbors Deli at 2142 W. Henderson Road and the other inBoth are new business models for the partners, who opened their first pizzeria in 2015, taking over the original Shorty's in Delaware, followed by Shorty's Pizza & Growl, another full-service restaurant in the Powell area, in 2018.
The menu features salads, subs, appetizers and two pasta specialties: a Toledo-style chili mac and baked spaghetti. Cordas also had a background in the restaurant business, working at Ugly Tuna Saloona and Adobe Gila's, both owned by LTP Management Group.
