Four people were injured in a shooting early Saturday morning at a party in an unincorporated part of Kendall County near Yorkville, officials said.
The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call for reports of shots being fired at a party around 1:36 a.m. in the 8400 block of Immanuel Road, officials said in a news release Saturday.Upon arrival, deputies found four people suffering from gunshot wounds or graze wounds from the gunfire, police said.
A 21-year-old man was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment, according to officials. Two 22-year-old women and an 18-year-old woman were also taken to local hospitals and have since been released, police said in the release.A preliminary investigation shows a person appeared to open fire with a handgun following a fight between attendees at the party, police said.
