A Chicago shooting in the South Loop near Michigan and Roosevelt injured a man Monday afternoon, CPD said. 1 person is in custody.
CHICAGO -- Chicago police said a 52-year-old man was injured in a shooting in the city's South Loop Monday afternoon.
The victim was struck in the leg and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in initially reported good condition. "You think when you move to a nice area that things are going to get better, but it actually gets worse," said Charisma August, South Loop resident."They're targeting nice areas. They're targeting people with money. They're targeting cars that look nice."
