In a recent East Carolina University poll, Brown narrowly defeats both Moreno and Dolan. Brown defeats Dolan by just 1 percentage point, 45% to 44%, and Moreno by 4 points, 46% to 42%.Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose has also been speculated to enter the Republican primary field but has yet to make an announcement. “I am preparing to, hopefully soon announce my candidacy for this office,” he reportedly said in a voicemail to a supporter, according to NBC News.
