Shortly before 8 p.m., the National Weather Service said all tornado warnings had been canceled.

Shortly before 8 p.m., the National Weather Service said all tornado warnings west of Columbus had been canceled."The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled. However gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm."The Columbus area is under a hazardous weather outlook.

"Showers and thunderstorms will increase in coverage through the day and will continue into this evening. An isolated strong or severe storm may be possible with damaging winds and large hail. The greatest threat window will be between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. In addition, rain may be locally heavy which could result in some localized flooding issues," according to the National Weather Service.
