Scattered showers and storms hit areas west of the city in the early afternoon. The unsettled weather gradually moved east through the late afternoon and evening.
If you plan to be outside and you hear thunder, head indoors. If you have outdoor activities planned, storms could cause interruptions. The intensity of the showers and storms will vary however. The entire region faces a slight risk for severe storms by the late afternoon into the evening, Gomez said.Gomez said the start of the work week will likely see clouds and some showers but should quickly turn sunny by noon.
