LEHI — A Lehi man was arrested Tuesday after police say he was distributing large quantities of drugs and operating a lab to cook THC products.
Jose Luis Escobar, 43, was booked into the Utah County Jail for investigation of operating a clandestine lab, five counts of drug possession with intent to distribute, having materials to operate a clandestine lab and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Task force members also found equipment for a lab used to cook and press THC dab, which is the concentrated form of cannabis. "The operation of the clandestine lab was in operation within a residence and within 500 feet of a church," police noted in the affidavit.
