Sophomore standout Brandin Podziemski, the University of Illinois transfer whose unexpected emergence earned him West Coast Conference Co-Player of the Year honors alongside Gonzaga’s Drew Timme, announced on Wednesday that he was declaring for the NBA Draft while maintaining his collegiate eligibility., including Sports Illustrated, to be a late-first or early-second round pick.
