San Antonio has been selected as the host of the 2029 women’s Final Four, bringing the event back to the city for a fourth time.

The NCAA set the Final Four sites from 2027 through 2031 on Monday, selecting from a list of seven finalists that also included Columbus, Ohio; Dallas; Indianapolis; Portland, Ore.; Sacramento, Calif.; and Tampa, Fla. “The Women’s Final Four is the premier women’s basketball event in the country, and it’s exciting to see the unprecedented amount of interest from cities to host in the future,” Division I women’s basketball committee chair Lisa Peterson said.
San Antonio will become the second city to host the event four times after welcoming the women’s Final Four in 2021, 2010 and 2002. Indianapolis will be the first city to host four women’s Final Fours when the event visits in 2028. Columbus was announced as the 2027 host, and the Final Four will head to Portland in 2030 and Dallas in 2031.
The Alamo City is also scheduled to host the men’s Final Four in 2025 after serving as the home for the event in 2018, 2008, 2004 and 1998.
