City Council on Thursday unanimously approved spending nearly $408,000 on improvements to the Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium ahead of the Missions’ upcoming season, which starts in April. The 6,200-seat Wolff Stadium on the far West Side opened to Missions fans in 1994, and has been deteriorating for years.
