A San Antonio man died in a two-vehicle collision on a Northwest Texas highway, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Officials said 46-year-old Luis Gerardo Rios made an “unsafe U-turn” while driving his Ford F-150 on Texas 137 near Stanton. Rios was stopped on the east shoulder of the highway just before 1 p.m., when he decided to pull out and make a U-turn in front of a Kenworth truck and trailer that was traveling northbound on the highway.Officials said the 46-year-old was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.
